Plan Description:

The aim is to bring JOY to people for Christmas! We get people to make things...ANYTHING (from tables to toys, clothes to cards). Then their 'gifts' go into a brochure, which is then distributed out to schools, churches, organisations etc. People can pay for one of the gifts (and the money goes straight to the craftsperson) and the gifts are then distributed to those in need in the week preceding Christmas.

My Big reasons are:

* Firstly because we strongly believe that for the world to become a better place - those with more need to give to those with less.

* We want to eliminate apathy and boredom by giving people something worthy to live for. Those in nursing homes with skills and also struggling artists/craftsmen or youth can contribute to something bigger and also get paid for it.

* Because we value quality over quantity, homemade over produced and giving over just consuming.

* Because we want to create a joyful, light hearted, intentional and inspirational workplace that exists to bring change in people's lives. (Eventually we would love to have a big workshop for everyone to work from.)

* Because those who need money can earn it, those who have money can give it to a worthy cause and those who are in need receive gifts of love.

My plan will be a success when:

The gifts have been delivered and craftspeople are motivated to continue to create.
