Colac Aboriginal Network.inc is a not for profit organization supporting indigenous families in the Colac Otway Shire and surrounding regions, one of our major successful projects is NAIDOC Week. We are endeavoring to add another project, an educational consultancy group to provide better learning outcomes for indigenous students in our region. NAIDOC Week in Colac first hosted in 2009 by a group of volunteers from diverse backgrounds, to promote the week, and raise community awareness about the indigenous culture in the Colac Otway region. Each year we have hosted various events for the community to celebrate NAIDOC week in the Colac Otway shire. We always encourage community involvement to share ideas and spread the word, "From little ideas, big projects grow" We have now incorporated to become Colac Aboriginal Network Inc.
