PlanBig gives you the capability to have your idea brought to life.  It is a community where you can share your goal, receive feedback, advice and assistance to make it happen.

To begin, set up your own profile. Have fun and give some insight into why you are involved. Be sure to put up a photo. It’s quick to get started and you can edit your profile as often as you like.

Let people learn more about you and why you PlanBig. You could be just the person they’ve been looking for to help out with their big idea.  

Next, you should check out the plans already up. ‘Browse Plans’ to see the current action on the website. They are categorised into common sections. Select a plan that sounds interesting and read about their reasons and marks for success. You can also see how they ask for people to ‘get involved’.  This will help give you ideas for your own plan.

PlanBig makes it easy to let people know what your plan needs to be successful – whether it be a location, goods, time, skills or some advice. 

When you are ready to ‘create a plan’ make it enticing! Answer the questions and remember to keep it short and sharp as you want to capture the attention of the members. Make it clear what you want to achieve and what you would like others to do. Upload interesting photos, show your excitement and enthusiasm.

Spreading your plan online is a great way to let people know what you're doing and getting them involved. PlanBig allows you to post directly to your twitter or facebook account or via email. 

Be sure to ‘help out’ where you can. Get active and comment on other plans. Your actions will earn you points and badges. Badges demonstrate knowledge across areas of PlanBig – see if you can receive them all!

PlanBig is only as good as the planners and the supporters on the site. People will be rewarded based on their contribution and every comment, like, share and resource donation will help build your user profile on the site.
