Many PlanBiggers have asked for the ability to link to their PlanBig plan, similarly to how they would link back to Facebook or Twitter, by clicking on the PlanBig logo:

A place for sharing plans and ideas to make them happen | PlanBig

Below are two sets of code to make this possible, for a large image and a smaller icon.

Step 1: Replace the generic URL in the code below with your own plan URL
Paste the code below into a text editor such as Word or Notepad and replace the generic link with your own plan URL.

If you were linking back to Bhakti’s Sowing the Seeds of Hope plan for example, the code would contain that plan's URL eg: a href=’http://www.planbig.com.au/Sowing-the-seeds-of-hope-in-Khirala-village’ not PlanBig's URL as seen below,

Step 2: Copy this code
Select the code, right-click and then select copy.

Step 3: Paste the code into the HTML editor of your site or blog
This is where it may get a little bit confusing, most blogs contain a WYSIWYG (What You See Is What You Get) editor where you can enter and edit text and select the formatting you want without having to mess around with any code. What you want to do is enter this code directly into the HTML editor of your blog or site to override this so that the code displays correctly. There is usually a button on the WYSIWYG that allows you to enter HTML.

There is some more information on how to do this in Blogger, WordPress and LiveJournal here and Tumblr here.

If you need any help with this, don’t hesitate to get in touch with the PlanBig team through our feedback form and we will help you to get the link onto your site.

Thanks to all the PlanBiggers who asked to link their website back to their plans, we are so glad that PlanBig has been useful to you and thank-you for helping to spread the word. Keep up the great work.
