If you are a PlanBig planner grateful for the support you have been receiving, then this Help Card is for you. Check out these handy hints for how planners can give back to their supporters:

1.       Show your appreciation – Mark comments as helpful

If somebody has offered up some useful advice, it’s nice to show your appreciation by marking their comment as helpful. It’s a thoughtful gesture that is sure to please, and it also helps show everyone else in the community what a superstar they are!

2.       Acknowledge participation Accept pledges
If a supporter has responded to your resource request by pledging to help out, acknowledge their participation by accepting that pledge. Not only will it boost their points on the leader board, it will also help cement your relationship so everybody knows where they stand.

3.       Be responsive – Write back
It’s always nice when somebody takes the time to say thank you – those two words are a sure-fire way to put a smile on somebody’s face.

4.       Recognise interest – Keep people updated
If your supporters have taken the time to subscribe to your updates it is likely that they want to be kept in the loop on your progress – make sure you keep the ball rolling by sending out regular notes on your progress to keep people up-to-date.

5.       Give them props – If you’re connected via other social networks, offer a shout out
Everybody loves a shout out. If you’re connected with your supporters on Twitter or Facebook (or any other social network for that matter), give them props for being so awesome for all of their friends and family to see.
