Using the Pozible crowd funding platform you create a project and set a target amount of money that you would like to raise, and set a deadline for the project.  The platform allows you to set up to 90 days to run your project, and the ability to set your own user friendly URL.

When your project is ready and launched, people pledge dollar amounts to help you raise the funds you need.

You offer pledgers rewards for donating, and if you look at other projects on the site, the reward does not necessarily have to cost you money.  You apply different rewards for different pledge amounts, with bigger rewards for higher pledges.

If you don't reach 100% of your target amount by the deadline then any pledges you have received will be lost; you must reach your target amount to receive any of the pledges, therefore it is wise to set a realistic target.

It is okay to exceed the goal and you will receive all pledges so long as the target is reached.

Pledgers are asked to enter their payment details when they make the pledge, if successful the money is automatically taken from their account by Pozible, so you don’t have the worry of people not following through with their promise or having to chase up pledges.

You can add updates and messages for pledgers, so, refer your Pozible supporters to your PlanBig plan, and vice versa, this will potentially increase support and exposure for both your PlanBig plan and your Pozible project.

There is plenty of information on the site to help you set up your project, and lots of successful projects, take a look at the successful ones to see what sort of rewards they offered their pledgers.

This is an Australian based crowd funding platform, there are others out there, just search Google and you will see several that allow Australians to create projects and have a more global reach.
