Advice from ehon to lisa chiodo : The beauty about life is, often, we are given a second chance to make it right from wrong, and to turn our adversities into something great like this, Lisa. I'm also in Brisbane and if you need any help, please let me know!

Stuart Breden Hi Lisa, I'm a GP here in Perth. Presumably you are referring to loosing a son who has died. What about those fathers who have lost their son/s but those son/s are still alive? I would love to hear from you off line.
-
Jennifer Murphy Hi Stuart, I'm not Lisa, but I came across this website/support group that might be helpful. I read some of the stories (under the tab) and it seems to cover something similar to what you are asking. http://www.dadsindistress.asn.au/index.html

Jennifer Murphy Hi Lisa, have you come across this site on the Men's Health Policy? http://www.health.gov.au/ then under the Information by Health Topic, chose Men's Health. Lots of interesting information there! Thanks to Joanne who pointed me in the right direction!

Question from lisa chiodo : Have just set up a basic facebook page for the event, need 25 people to like it before I can change the link to something a bit more user friendly. Please go check it out, www.facebook.com/.../134542543237532!/pages/Speak-my-Name/134542543237532?v=wall&ref=ts

Colin Hugh Abbott Lisa - I am very sorry to hear of the sad circumstance which led you to be involved in this worthy cause. I am a pensioner, but, if you want to give me your address, I will send you a cheque for twenty dollars, which, I hope, in some way, will help in your endeavour to Speak My Name.

Charlotte I'm in New Zealand so I can't be there to join you. I know what it is to loose someone close, life changes for ever. What a great idea to set up this event for men. Men are very much raised to be staunch and hold it all in our our culture, this is not a healthy way to deal with emotions. Hopefully they'll connect with each other, perhaps exchange a few phone numbers, create similar future events. Good on you!
-
Colin Hugh Abbott Lisa, I am a newcomer to PlanBig and I'm not quite sure how to state that I like your plan. There should be a button or tag up there to hit ... but I can't see it ... can somebody help ... please. Good on ya, Lisa!
-
Colin Hugh Abbott Ah ... I can see it now ... well done, Lisa!
-
Lydia Bevege Hi Lisa - I've just liked your facebook event. Good luck with it!
