Description:

The Quitober Challenge http://quitober.com.au is a positive awareness campaign month that encourages smokers to quit smoking during October and for good.

My Big reasons are:

We think smokers are tired of being told the dangers of smoking & now need more support & encouragement to help them quit. Smokers can register for free or can register as a sponsored member for $31 and receive a Quitober Pack and can win incentive prizes. Sponsored members are sponsored by their employer and get their membership refunded if they manage to quit for the Quitober Challenge.

My plan will be a success when:

This year, for our first event, we hope to get all Australian universities on board supporting & sponsoring their staff smokers to quit. Any other employers that wish to sponsor their staff smokers are also welcome to participate. We hope to have at least 500 members this year. Over the next five years we plan to be the premier and only quit smoking event in Australia with some 20,000 members participating annually.
