Things you should know about me:

We are a small group of dedicated individuals who hold the belief that they can and will make a difference for the better to the lives of the Jarrahdale residents and their families. That through effective communication and co-operation dreams can be realized. Finally that if you want to change something for the better you have to be prepared to do the work to make it happen

What I'm interested in:

JCA are interested in representing the aspirations and needs of Jarrahdale residents. JCA have a vision and that is to provide opportunities for the Jarrahdale community to: Celebrate the benefits of living in this community, offer Intergenerational activities and events, give feedback to the Serpentine Jarrahdale Shire, Government Departments, Industry and Business o the needs of the community, be accessible to key stakeholders for local knowledge and expertise, be a hub for other community groups and organisations, offer advice on environmental concerns in the community, have a focus on the needs of young people in our community and provide activities and facilities.

Things I am good at:

JCA are good at working as a team and enlisting the support of a wide range of community members to achieve their goals. Through positive working relations the JCA have achieved wide acclaim and public recognition for their efforts. Most recently they took out the Active Citizenship Award for a group at the Australia day celebrations hosted by the SJ Shire Council. They are now mentoring others and openly welcome new members, potential projects and community feedback
