Things you should know about me:

We’re tired of feeling like outsiders in the female web world and women’s media. We feel labels like ‘crafty mummy’, ‘lipstick lesbian’ or ‘suited up business woman’ just don’t apply. For us, the slew of women’s magazines and ‘believe in yourself’ online communities are irrelevant. And the whole “high five, we’ve made it against the boys” line shits us to tears. In fact we care more about what happens to the planet and the people on it, than about finding our G Spot or baking the perfect cupcake. That’s why we created Discordia

What I'm interested in:

Meeting women who are happy, brave and inspired by being themselves as opposed to paper doll cut outs of what a women is meant to be.

Things I am good at:

Discordia allows us to relish the delight in disrupting things on occasion. She also serves as a reminder that with our actions come far-reaching consequences. But most of all, Discordia shows us if your convictions are true, even if you are a solo voice in a sea of opposition and apathy, you have a right (and even a duty) to let that voice be heard.
