Plan Description:

Small serves big taste. My plan to create the Jumplings brand. Japanese dumplings (gyoza) are tasty pan fried (or deep fried) dumplings that are often served with food or alcohol (beer), they can also be served on their own. My plan is to increase the consumption of Gyoza by marketing it as Jumplings.

My Big reasons are:

Compliments my current business, I currently manufacture dumplings for Japanese restaurants. Already have well established distributor relationships. Establishes a new customer base for the product that is not so heavily dependent on a few distributors. The word 'gyoza' is difficult to pronounce hence the change in name may endear more people to the product. Easy to prepare with a pan, cooks from frozen and no fuss and no mess preparation that requires 6 minutes.

My plan will be a success when:

When Jumplings are sold in supermarkets in Perth.

My plan success story

1. Now you’ve marked your plan a success, what about it makes you most proud?

This plan was started from scratch with no prior pathways. I had to work on it everyday and make it become a success. I started from the name then moved on to the logo then the website. In the plan I needed to get certification which I paid for and got certified.

2. What challenges did you face on your journey and what have you learned?

There are many challenges. To think of it they all required a lot of work to overcome. There has been also a lot of support from people. Business has many hurdles, too many to name individually the main hurdle is yourself.

3. What are some ways that PlanBig has helped you?

I have gotten to know some really awe inspiring people. Those that keeps going and does not give up and find ways to solve a problem.
