PlanBig.com.au was designed by Bendigo and Adelaide Bank as a place where anyone with a plan, a project, an idea or a dream can connect with other people to find the resources, expertise and support to bring their plan to reality.

Helping to facilitate community success has always been at the heart of Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's success, from its beginnings as a building society in 1858 through the launch of Community Bank® in 1998 to other community initiatives such as Community Telco, Lead On and Community enterprise Foundation™.

The Bank has used this experience in facilitating community outcomes to create a website that addresses the fact that in many instances, "community" is no longer just about the people who live near you. Now, in our 2.0 world, PlanBig will help people with a common goal to come together online to share ideas and effort to achieve a real-world outcome.

PlanBig draws on the strengths of social networking to enable people to efficiently share information, create partnerships and support each other's plans. One day we hope that PlanBig will be part of everyday life, a self-sustaining and self-moderating community that is of real use to passionate people and real benefit to communities with all kinds of plans, big or small.
