Plan Description:
www.ethikl.com.au is an online eco market where artisans producers can sell a huge variety of unique and ethically made products, from organic food to fairtrade handbags, natural beauty products and recycled jewellery. It’s taking the principles of eBay and recreating it – I call it eBay with soul.
People Supporting my Plan:
It’s no Big deal, but you don’t currently have any PlanBig supporters. Here are some ideas to help get people excited about your plan:
- Tell everyone you know through your social networks. Ask them to spread the word about your Big idea.
- Re-jig your plan name to sound as compelling as possible. Think Big and bold.
- Revise your plan description to successfully communicate the issue as well as your passion.

My plan success story
1. Now you’ve marked your plan a success, what about it makes you most proud?
I feel incredibly satisfied by the work I've done and I’m so amazed and humbled by the immense interest and support I have recieved. I am so excited that Ethikl has resonated with so many different types of people and I love how much people are enjoying the site, I love the publicity we have recieved, and I love that we are helping to bring ethical production into the public eye.
2. What challenges did you face on your journey and what have you learned?
Ethikl has been a steep learning curve both in terms of technology and learning to balance my time as a mum of two little ones, yet as corny as it sounds, I have learnt to follow my heart and that by being authentic in what you are doing people will come out of the woodwork to support you such as the wonderful community and staff at PlanBig.
3. What are some ways that PlanBig has helped you?
The community provided support and encouragement that keep me going through the tough times. PlanBig supported me by sourcing media coverage to raise awareness about Ethikl, they made us the featured plan on PlanBig and their did a story on their Blog as well as extensive social media support. PlanBig even organised a PR event at WOMAD in Adelaide and sourced 5000 bags from an Ethikl and printed our story on them....UNBELIEVABLE!! I will never forget seeing massive piles of Fair Trade bags with www.ethikl.com printed all over them :))
4. Is there anything else you'd like to share?
My heartfelt appreciation goes to the PlanBig team including Jeanette, Terri, Sharyn, Julia, Michelle, Nick, Cath, Eunice and the extended PlanBig Community. Ethikl would not be what it is today without your support.
